Why I am running for Town Board
East Greenbush is a wonderful place to live and raise a family, but I am discouraged by the condition and governance of our town. Recent actions by our elected officials leave no doubt that there exists significant room for improvement. My candidacy offers the voters of East Greenbush a choice for change. I have a strong background in research and advocacy, I am determined, and as a member of the Town Board I will work hard to represent the best long-term interests of East Greenbush.
If elected, I will bring an open mind and a studious and collaborative approach to decision-making. I will work to improve the fiscal health of the town, I will advocate for proper planning, and I will work to restore the aesthetic attractiveness of our main thoroughfares. My goal is for citizens to be proud that East Greenbush is their hometown.
About Me
My husband and I have been homeowners in East Greenbush for 16 years. I married Michael Tierney in 1995, and we are the proud parents of two very active boys, Sean and Dylan.
After I graduated from Siena College, I lived in the city of Albany until Mike and I purchased our first home. Throughout the years, we have renovated, expanded, and updated our house and have happily remained in East Greenbush. Our children currently attend Goff Middle School and play baseball, basketball, and soccer in our community and we enjoy being involved in their activities
EAST GREENBUSH First

We are determined to represent all residents, and to change the way our town is managed. An effective change process requires good ideas, and a collaborative approach to shape and implement change. Jack Conway, Tom Grant, and I are committed to working together to improve our community through transparent, honest, and proactive government.
